  GOSIAME Sithole will apply for an urgent court interdict to force the Gauteng Department of Social Development to release her from its custody against her will, her lawyer said.   POLICE in Mpumalanga have launched a manhunt for suspects believe to have murdered five people including a 12-year- old girl execution-style. The incidents took place in Nelspruit and Bushbuck Ridge in the early hours of Youth Day. The victims were shot and their houses torched. Police provincial spokesperson Leonard Hlathi said the killings could be gang-related.   THE Department of Correctional Services is investigating how a smartphone made its way into the prison cell of a man who killed Tshegofatso Pule. This comes after Independent Media broke the story of Pule’s convicted murderer Muzikayise Malephane updating his Facebook status from prison. The posts from prison were met with an outcry by gender activist group Sisters Keeper. In a statement yesterday, Correctional Services spokesperson Singabakho Nxumalo said Malephane would be charged for contravening prison rules. Malephane received a 20-year jail term after he admitted to being offered R70 000 to kill the 28-year-old, heavily pregnant Pule last year. “This is a disturbing development as mobile phones are a contraband.   A 24-year-old woman was arrested after she threw her 3-month-old baby on the floor. It's alleged that this happened after the child's father refused to let them into the house when they visited him on Friday. Police have since established that the woman is originally from Zimbabwe. A 24-year-old woman is expected to appear in a Mpumalanga court after she allegedly threw her 3-month-old baby on the floor during a dispute with the father of the child. It's alleged that the woman and the baby visited the man on the farm where he works in Avontuur near Middelburg on Friday. According to police spokesperson Brigadier Leonard Hlathi, when the woman and her baby arrived, the man refused to let them inside. She then allegedly threatened to kill their baby if he did not open the door. "It is said that the woman then threw the infant on the ground," Hlathi said. Modiadie, who was at the station for five years until early this year when her contract was not renewed, had complained to the then station manager about inappropriate comments that her manager made about her.   Prominent Zimbabwean prophet and leader of Prophetic and Healing Deliverance Ministries (PHD), Walter Magaya says he is wrecked by the death of popular Nigerian televangelist pastor TB Joshua, adding he had an unnamed parcel for the Nigerian pastor but failed to deliver it to him as he was denied permission to travel to Nigeria from Zimbabwe last week.
